About Torrey Young
Dryad, LLC is owned and operated by Torrey Young, a Registered Consulting Arborist® and Board Certified Master Arborist.Torrey has an in-depth and expansive career spanning over 40 years. Since 1972, Torrey has been employed in the care of trees, climbing and maintaining trees, and managing a contracting business. He worked as a corporate national tree consultant and trainer and is a recipient of many industry awards. Torrey has also served in a myriad of professional leadership roles.
His experience includes 28 years of contracting and consulting as President of TREESCAPES, Inc. Torrey's company was acquired by the national firm, The Care of Trees, Inc., in 2004, where he was subsequently employed full-time through 2008 as a national educator and consultant and providing regional support. Torrey has been consulting through his current firm, Dryad, LLC, since 2004.
